I recently got a new video camera to strap to my mtb.  It's made by NISIS and only cost about £90 - although you do have to buy a compact Flash card for a decent recording time.

Videos
I haven't had much of a chance to use it but here are a few videos you can download.  Nothing amazing yet, just a few local rides on the South Downs and Cliff-Top.  They're pretty big so may take a while to download.  You'll need a DIVXMPG4 V3 decoder for Media Player or whatever viewer you use.  If you haven't got the decoder you'll normally just hear sound and get no video - you can download the necessary decoder here.

14/06/2003 - Friston Forest again!  What can I say, its the only local bit of single track!  Nice little double jump in this to :-) (45.9MB)
12/06/2003 - Friston Forest again but a few different routes.  I'm using the camera more at the moment because I'm going back to Wales soon and want to get used to using it. (84.5MB).  Keith reckoned we could ride through this (pictured below) so we tried!

09/06/2003 - Friston Forest ride with my mate Keith.  Large video file this (72MB).  Some of it is a bit dark to because it was quite late.  I was wearing in my Mini Hope Disc brake so there is a bit of brake squeal as well!
11/01/2003 - Seafront ride with my mate Keith (approx 28MB)
24/12/2002 - First time out with camera, went along the cliff top (approx 27MB)

Pics
Here are a few pics from my mountain biking trips: (some of the pics are quite large and will take a while to download if you're on a modem)

Wales October 2002
I didn't get that many pics from this trip because it was chucking it down with rain the whole time and I couldn't be bothered to stop and get the camera out!  I went through a set of brake blocks in just one ride and had no braking power at all by the end.  Had to ditch the bike a few times because I couldn't stop.

The last picture above is Mark still in bed the morning after the night before.  Heavy drinking session the night before rendered him more than slightly worse for wear!  Even so, he managed a 34 mile ride that day which is up and down big Welsh hills and is pretty tough going.  Respect!

BTW, I didn't injure myself badly on this trip :-)))

Wales June 2002 (apologies about my friends!)

And because of my accident (pictured above) I received a nice dislocated AC Joint on my left shoulder and a few cuts and bruises!  The bike was buggered too :-(
